'Trying a new experiment
, inspired by the Eat Like Me blog
(which I heard through the Washington Post's Checkup column
I know that
- Keeping a food log and
- Doing so obsessively
were two main elements of my prior success at losing weight (over 70 pounds while participating in this study
for 2 years). The others were, of course:
- Eat lots (and I mean lots) of vegetables and fruits, but
- Eat less than you burn, through
- Exercise, primarily through fast walking and strength training.
I've fallen off all of these and need to resume. But, in the spirit of small changes in lifestyle, let's start with the food log.
Let's see if I can keep it up.
